Full-Time Position
Position Overview: As part of the Terminal Redevelopment Team, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for the overall management of the Terminal Transformation Program within the Phase 2.5 and Late Phase Transformation of JFK Terminal 4 Redevelopment. The Senior Project Manager of Terminal Redevelopment works closely with the Vice President, Terminal Redevelopment, and supervises the Project Managers.

Salary Range: $150,000 - $170,000
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Serves as lead for the Terminal Transformation Program
• Develops strategic project plans, and outlines the scope, objectives, timelines, and resources required for successful project completion
• Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to understand their requirements, provide updates, address any concerns during the different phases of any project, and execute project work plans with minimal operational disruption
• Organizes Operational Readiness, Activation and Transition (ORAT) program to facilitate efficient and effective transition of projects to operational state
• Builds and lead project teams, including subcontractors, subject matter experts, and JFKIAT functional managers, and ensures effective communication among team members
• Manages overall project financial, including budget tracking, forecasting, reporting, bidding, contracting, invoicing, and documenting of change events
• Identifies potential risks and develops strategies to mitigate them, ensuring that the project stays on track and meets its objectives
• Conducts field inspections for safe working conditions and operational issues, risk assessments, walkthroughs, and safety audits
• Monitors project timelines and milestones, and effectively communicates schedule updates to the stakeholders
• Conducts project evaluations upon completion of phases, analyzing the success of the project, and identifying areas for improvement. Ensuring all project closeout documentation is completed.
• Review of Port Authority’s Provision for Work (RPW), Project Labor Agreement, and Design Standards, ensuring that the project complies with organizational policies, industry standards, and relevant regulations
• Serves as the Terminal Redevelopment Liaison between the Port Authority of NY & NJ, and the Delta Air Lines Design and Construction Team
• Responsible for internal, external, and business partner communication regarding the operational impact and scheduled work
• In coordination with Terminal Redevelopment and People Operations, serves as a liaison for MWBE (Minority and Women Business Enterprises), and LBE (Local Business Enterprises) outreach and documentation
• Other related duties
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Training, and Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management
• 5-8 years of related experience in terminal planning and design, terminal redevelopment, construction, and project management
• Experience with electronic drawing systems such as BIM modeling and 3D CAD
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or related certifications, highly preferred
Special Requirements
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and obtain and maintain federally mandated security clearances required to work at an airport.
• Ability to work weekends and off-hours
